Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, on National Minorities Day, reaffirmed Quaid-e-Azam’s historic pledge of 11 August 1947: “You are free to go to your temples, you are free to go to your mosques, or to any other place of worship in this State of Pakistan.” He stated, under my leadership, Pakistan stands resolute in protecting the rights of every citizen, regardless of race, ethnicity, or religion, fostering interfaith harmony and making equality the bedrock of a united, progressive, and inclusive nation.
