In-person appearance of applicant for MRP in the High Commission

Procedural/ Documentation /Requirements

Applicants aged above 18 years may provide the following documents while visiting High Commission:

  • Original valid NICOP/CNIC along with its photocopy (front & back)
  •  Original Passport with photocopy of its bio-pages (first four pages)
  • Proof of legal residence status in the New Zealand
  • Pre-paid self-addressed envelope, registered post or courier satchel, unless collecting up personally.

For Minor applicants (below 18 years of age)

Following documents may be provided:

  • original & valid NICOP along with its photocopy (front & Back) OR
  • NADRA Child Registration Certificate (CRC)/ Rg-2 Form (B-Form) and its photocopy
  •  Original Passport with photocopy of its bio-pages (first four pages)
  •  Applicants Original Birth Certificate and its photocopy.
  • Parent’s Pakistani Passport/NADRA Card and its photocopy.

Proof of applicant’s legal residence status in New Zealand

Service Charges (Fee)

  • Fee to avail ordinary passport category with 5 years validity is NZ$ 75/-.
  • Fee to avail ordinary passport category with 5 years validity but urgent acquisition request is NZ$ 160/-.
  • Fee to avail ordinary passport category with 10 years validity is NZ$ 125/-.
  • Fee to avail ordinary passport category with 10 years validity but urgent acquisition request is NZ$ 225/-.

Remarks

  • Fee must be deposited in the High Commission’s Bank Account No. 01-1823-0019313-00 prior to visiting the High Commission as per the scheduled appointment.
  • The usual processing time for this service at Directorate General Immigration and Passports (IMPASS); Islamabad, is   6 weeks for normal acquisition requests while 3 weeks for urgent acquisition requests.

Note:

  • In case parents are separated or divorced, the custodian father or mother is required to produce court orders confirming legal right of custody of the child.
  • Children below 15 years of age are issued only 5 year valid MRP.
  • Dual national applicants must also present their original foreign passport along with its photocopy.
