 Visa for Indian Nationals

Important Notice/Reminder

  • Applicants can submit their documents personally or send through a registered mail / courier.

  • Visa is liable to be cancelled if information requested in the form is withheld or found to be incorrect.

  • Original signatures on each form. (For children under12 years, the parents can sign visa application forms on their behalf)

  • Passport must be valid for a minimum of six months.

  • New Zealand nationals not resident in New Zealand should apply for visa in their respective countries of residence (a New Zealander who is visiting another country cannot apply to a Pakistani visa from third country)

  • A foreigner holding a New Zealand visitor visa holder is advised to apply for a Pakistani visa from their countries of origin.

  • Applicants holding passports other than New Zealand Passport should provide proof of their residential status in New Zealand. Their passports must contain the appropriate entry. All others should apply for visa in their country of origin.

  • Visa is usually given within one week. Delays, however, can occur due to circumstances beyond the High Commission’s control, especially where a reference has to be made to Pakistan or due to an incomplete application.

  • Visa fee is subject to periodical revision without notice.

  • If the visa Officer is satisfied about the purpose of a visit, an appropriate visa will be issued to the applicant.

  • Person traveling on Diplomatic / Official passports are required to attach TPN from MFAT.

  • Original passport along with photocopy of passport (first four pages) along with copy of New Zealand resident permit.

  • Passport must be valid for a minimum of six months.

  • Four (4) recent passport size colored photographs.

  • Letter from Employer confirming your employment.

  • Letter of invitation from Pakistan with invitee’s a copy of passport or CNIC

  • Personal Bank Statement (last 04 weeks)

  • Travel Itinerary.

  • Addresses both in Pakistan and New Zealand are provided (with email address and phone numbers).

  • Marriage certificate (incase married to a Pakistani national)

  • Recommendation letter from Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) Lahore (for pilgrimage purpose only).

  • Fee in form of Postal money order / certified bank cheque / bank draft should be in the name of “High Commission for Pakistan, Wellington” or Direct Bank Deposit in ANZ Bank Account No: 011823-0019313-00.

  • Insert the name as reference in the Bank Receipt and send the original receipt along with your application form.

  • Applicants sending their documents through mail must enclose a return pre-paid, self-addressed registered / courier envelope.



  • Consular fees once deposited cannot be refunded.

  •  Each applicant is required to fill four separate application forms in original and attach a colored photograph with each application form.
