General Visa Requirements:

Downlaod Form

  • Duly filled Visa Form.
  • Original passport along with photocopy of passport (first four pages)
  • Passport must be valid for minimum of six months.
  • Two recent passport size colored photographs (with white background)
  • Reference letter from your present employer. If self-employed, any document proving your status as such.
  • Letter of invitation from Pakistan with his/her ID.
  • Personal Bank Statement for the last six months, duly signed & stamped by the Bank.
  • Travel itenary.
  • Addresses both in Pakistan and New Zealand are provided.
  • Any other document(s) that can be helpful in obtaining a visa.

    • Visitor / Tourist Visa

    If the Visa Officer is satisfied about the purpose of a visit an appropriate visa is issued to a visitor or a tourist holding a New Zealand Passport.

    Fee: NZ$ 164


    • Business Visa

    Following documents should be attached with the visa application:

    • Letter of invitation attested by the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Pakistan or any other recognized body.
    • A letter from your Company on its letter head, attested by the Chambers of Commerce or Trade Agency of New Zealand.
    • Copy of Travel itinerary.

    Short Duration Fee: NZ$ 164
    Long Duration / Multiple Entries Fee: NZ$ 3100


    • Issuance of Visa on Arrival to Pakistan

    Businessmen / Investors

    The Government of Pakistan has decided to grant visa to genuine foreign Businessmen / Investors from many countries including New Zealand, on arrival non-reporting for 30 days on production of any of the following documents:

    • Recommendation letter from Chamber of Commerce & Industries (CC&I) of the respective country of visitor.
    • Invitation letter from business organization duly recommended by the concerned Trade Organization / Association in Pakistan.
    • Recommendation letter by investment Consular of Board of Investment posted at Pakistan Mission abroad.

    • Journalist Visa:

    • Letter from the employer detailing the purpose of the visit.
    • Small summary of assignment to be undertaken in Pakistan.
    • Places to visit in Pakistan.

    • Non-Government Organization (NGO) Visa:

    • Introductory Letter from the employer in New Zealand and the purpose of the visit.
    • An invitation letter from NGO in Pakistan.

    • Visa For Non – New Zealand Nationals:

    • Applicants holding passports other than New Zealand Passport should provide proof of their residential status in New Zealand. Their passports must contain the appropriate entry. All others should apply for visa in their country of origin.

    • Visa For Indian Nationals:

    • The applicant is required to fill four application forms.
    • To provide four coloured passport size photographs.
    • Original signatures on each forms.


 

Mode Of Payment:

  • Direct Bank Deposit in ANZ Bank Account No: 011823-0019313-00. Insert the Passport number as Reference in the Bank Receipt and send the original Receipt with your application form.
  • Certified Bank Cheques / Money Order drawn in favour of High Commission for Pakistan. (PERSONAL CHEQUES ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE).

Important Notes:

  • Applicants sending their documents through mail should invariably enclose a pre-paid, registered / courier envelope.
  • Visa is liable to be cancelled if information requested in the Form is withheld or found to be incorrect.
  • New Zealand nationals not resident in New Zealand should apply for Visa in their respective countries of residence.
  • Other nationals should apply for visa from their countries of origin.
  • Visa is usually given within a week. Delays, however, can occur due to circumstances beyond the High Commissions control, especially where a reference has to be made to Pakistan.
  • Visa Fee is subject to periodical revision without notice.
  • Visa Fee is charged per person and not per passport. If children are endorsed in the passport, additional fee will be charged.
  • Person traveling on Diplomatic / Official passports are required to attached Note Verbale from MFAT.
Consular fees once deposited can not be refunded
