Donations for Floods victims in Pakistan Unprecedented floods due to torrential monsoon rains have wreaked havoc in Pakistan. The heaviest monsoon rains in one century, have resulted in tragic loss of over 1600 precious lives and displacing 20 million others. Floods have caused devastation to standing crops, livestock, infrastructure and livelihoods of people in various parts of the country. Entire towns and villages have been destroyed The scale of catastrophe still unfolding, necessitates immediate assistance to the government to meet the challenge of providing shelter, food, water, medicines and sanitation to the affected people The High Commission requests for donations into the Prime Ministers Flood Relief Fund 2010.
